Yes. Traditional Bootcamp Windows uses a Hybrid MBR which has two limits, 4 partitions on a single disk, and a 2 TB limit. If the starting point of a Bootcamp /Windows partition gets closer to 2TB on the disk, the only available size will be the space between the end of the last partition and something which is roughly 1 byte less than the 2TB limit.
Boot Camp is an assistant in Mac which allows users to install and use Windows or any other operating systems in a Mac. Boot Camp is a default Mac program inside Mac. Just like Windows or Linux users use Virtualbox to run more than one operating system inside their computer. Boot camp assistant is not allowing me to reduce the Windows 10 partition size to a value lower than 48 GB. I only have a 256 GB SSD and 48 GB seems to be a lot. I read online and watched a few videos on Boot Camp and most of them stated that Boot Camp requires a minimum of 30 GB. Prior Mac User worries on expanding/ enlarge partition on Mac, But Smart apples giving very secure option on the official way, using this way you can increase space in drive partition. Or most of the users trying to install windows on another partition at that time you need enough space there for installation through the boot camp.
Need to resize Boot Camp. Now you can run your windows with new Boot Camp partitions. Under some conditions, you may need to either increase or decrease storage space in Boot camp partition. Or you may find that Boot camp partition is running out of space so you want to add more space to Boot camp. What makes it so easy is that you tell Camptune the size you’d like your partition to be and, provided there’s enough free space on your Mac partition to give up some for Boot Camp, it takes.
You can verify this by running diskutil list on the hard disk and see how your partitions are laid out. If you want to post the output of the following, I can provide more details as well.
